Trey was approached to handle the renovation of a home in Austin's Lost Creek neighborhood, known for its abundance of young families, attracted to the area for its quality schools and tree-studded hillside homesites. This 30-plus-year-old home had great bones and a pool, but its ample space was poorly organized and under utilized. Trey worked with the owners to replace an open-air crawlspace overlooking the pool with a bright kitchen and bathroom with tile highlights, ample natural light and hardwood floors. Together, they converted the garage to include a bar area, bathroom and upstairs office space. The updated house also gained an updated entryway, a wine room and an iron-railed balcony overlooking the greenbelt. In the end, this family gained the perfect home to raise their children, entertain their friends and build a life of purpose in a great American city.

This kitchen renovation in Austin's exclusive Rob Roy neighborhood transformed a workmanlike 1980s kitchen the social center of family life and entertaining. Working with top-of-the-line appliances, Trey created warmth with a custom terrazzo backsplash, easy cleaning with granite countertops and effortless access to cookware and ingredients with inset cabinetry featuring soft close hardware.  These custom touches combine to create an oasis of efficient hospitality, perfect for entertaining, kids' homework or family meals. When you do things "Trey Morris Style" you get ergonomic design, the finest materials and a sense of balance that permeates your home.
